Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy applies to the client selection guides, download links, and configuration documentation provided by Which V2Ray Client on this domain. It explains how data is handled when you browse the site and clarifies the respective responsibilities of this site and client software.

1. Data We Collect

This is a static content site. It does not offer account registration, email subscriptions, or online configuration hosting. You can read the guides and access download links without providing your name, email address, phone number, or payment details. We do not ask you to upload subscription URLs, server credentials, client configurations, or connection logs.

When your browser requests a page or download, the infrastructure hosting the site receives information needed to fulfill the request. This may include your IP address, request time, resource path, response status, and device information sent by your browser. Whether referral information is sent depends on your browser and the referring site's settings. These records help deliver content, diagnose access issues, and handle abusive requests.

This site operates independently of any proxy client installed on your device. Browsing the site does not give us access to your client settings or proxy traffic. For information about how a client handles data, refer to the relevant project's documentation and your actual configuration.

2. Analytics and How We Use Data

We use analytics to understand how visitors use our pages, where they come from, and how they use download links. Analytics may record pages viewed, visit times, browser and device categories, and interactions such as switching platform tabs. This helps us improve site structure, identify broken links, and enhance the mobile experience.

Analytics are not used to build membership profiles. Events do not need to include subscription details, proxy server settings, or user files. Do not put passwords, tokens, or subscription links in URL query parameters, as they may be included in request records.

Infrastructure logs serve different purposes from aggregated analytics and may be retained differently. We do not promise a single retention period for all records. Data handling should be limited to the operational and content analysis purposes described above; technical records should not be published as public content.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Static pages may still use browser storage. Analytics or site infrastructure may use cookies to recognize visits, reduce duplicate counts, or maintain necessary request state. Your browser may also cache pages, fonts, and scripts to avoid loading them again. Check your browser's records to see what is actually stored during your visit.

Language links and section anchors work through links, while tabs can restore their state using a fragment identifier in the URL. These URL states are not themselves cookies. We do not ask you to store client subscriptions, server credentials, or configuration files in this site's local storage.

You can view, restrict, or delete this site's cookies, cache, and local storage in your browser, or use its tracking protection features. Blocking analytics requests may affect visit counts, and clearing the cache will cause resources to load again; neither action should normally prevent you from reading static page content already delivered.

4. Downloads and Third-Party Links

The download page uses a same-origin download endpoint to retrieve version information and provide client installers. Installers come from release assets published by the respective open-source client projects. Files may be delivered through forwarding or redirection. The site's documentation pages and download infrastructure involve different types of data processing.

When you start a download or follow a third-party link, the service hosting the resource may receive your IP address, request time, browser information, and download path. Its data handling is governed by the policies that apply to that service. Links to external resources do not mean we control their content, availability, or privacy practices. Before installing software, check that the app name, platform, and requested permissions are what you expect.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

If our data handling, analytics purposes, or download services change, we will update this page and revise the last-updated month at the top. Any changes involving new data categories or purposes should be clearly described here. Refer to the current text on this page for details about how we handle data.

For help troubleshooting subscription imports, proxy modes, or installation permissions, start with the Getting Started guide. For detailed settings, see Advanced Configuration. These pages are for self-service troubleshooting, not for submitting personal data requests. We currently do not offer account data inquiries or an email contact channel. Do not post configurations containing personal credentials in public channels.
